Just learned about Oblique Strategies for Song writing
I wrote a long rap song cause I wanted to write something that was Tape-B style or Wethan style which is Trap/Bass music on top of rapping. So, I had AI write me a song, which was fucking great, but it seemed empty knowing that generations of other writes wrote that song for me. Anyways, it turns out AI lyrics cannot be commercialized, so I can't make millions from that song (shocking!). Anyways, so I found that Brian Eno, REM, Beattles used Oblique Strategies for song writing, which is basically cues for what to write about. I can also just pick a new story or a book, and make shit up. Anyways, here's a great list of Oblique Strategies I found in my first search, so thanks Mattrickard!!
