Lisbon Wednesday
Today was a funfilled affair, starting with a zippy drive through Cascais Portugal ending up at a delicious lunch place (Bar Do Guincho) with a view overlooking a scenic and iconic surf spot. I enjoyed my first shrimp burger and sweetpotato fries and a cold brew. We watched 3 and 4 foot waves begin to turn in to 5 and 6 foot waves, and dozens of surfers lined up to take their crack at the fast moving breakers, which often broke left and right so two surfers could hit them.
Me enjoying the view down to the surf
Visited a World Heritage Site by UNESCO within the "Cultural Landscape of Sintra": Quinta de Regularei. It’s a palace and a chapel and an amazing park. The well is incredible, and the circular staircase here is a wonderful piece of architecture.
Looking Up
Looking Down
Chapel was amazing.
