Iceland tour day 1 and 2 Aurora Sighting
Buffy said there was a tiny chance of an aurora, so we walked down to the shore and she got this picture.

Jfc, this is so cool.

Next up, two waterfalls… and a black sand beach, but all the sand got carried away in recent Atlantic storms.
The crashing waves and the unending white foam of the untamed sea reminding me how magnificent Mother Nature can be.
Heading now to an iconic lava field that is like no place else in the solar system.

Snow covered, moss, moss covered rock
More Moss and lichen
Beautiful Buffy
Baffy standing at a snow covered lava field
Some glaciers along the way

Ended today’s tour at the smyrlabjorg where we got to talk to some of our fellow tourees. Very interesting. Got a quick after dinner walk in too. strava link
