Happy Thanks Giving - don't talk politics
So... everything I read on reddit says don't engage with trump fanatics. We can forgive them for their naivety for voting that way in 2016, but voting for a felony convicted sex offender a second time just means they're in favor of violence, family separation, and keeping women and minorities poor. So enjoy the food and leave. Engaging is counter-productive. That is a year-round activity if you really care.
