drummin’ skating’ workin’ ridin’ campin’
I did a little of everything this week except for riding, I did a lot of that. I went camping out at horseshoe Lake for the last few days. It was so incredibly beautiful, cloudless skies, no wind, icy nights and warm days. I camped in a wonderful little spot right at the Verde river below the Mesquite Campground, so it was free, whereas it would have been $16 per day at Mesquite. #vanlife #remoteWork #mountainbiking #running #disbursedcamping I got some remote work done by day and bike rides 1 2 and runs after and before work. They were releasing water from the overflow outlets so I rode up to check it out. Watching incredible amount of water crash into the rocky canyon was extraordinary. Audibly speaking, the volume was at crushing levels accross the entire spectrum, with heart rattling lows, and deafening highs. Completely spectacular and amazing. It was a full volume affair. I could actually hear that thunderous pounding from my campsite a mile away. There's a path to walk right underneath overvlow, complete madness.
My campsite was sheltered from the road, so very private, no sounds except the river and some magnificent baby cardinals fluttering about.
Doing a Fake Backside Air (I cannot land those, lol)
A not great picture of drum circle. It was cold and not as big as usual
