Trip North - Thursday
Yesterday: I panicked. My small battery was low, it rained in the morning, and nothing was charging up. Solar panels were only producing 30 watts. I'm working afterall, and I had two and a half days of work still... So... I purchased not just one night (Thursday), but TWO nights (Friday Too) of camping where they have hookups for me to run my gear. I didn't need Friday, but it was available, and only $40 per night. Well, fuck it. At least I know I'll have power through all day tomorrow. It was probably worth it, cause my battery is at 36% right now, and its so cloudy, it likely won't get charged enough for tomorrow. I do have my big battery, I just didn't need all that added stress.
So back to the blog... I checked out of my basic campsite, and I'm now at a day use area at Johnson Valley Resourvoir, which is mostly empty, but still lots of seagulls here, and just me too.
