Quest For Bike Tires - Shopping list
I saw a lot of people riding maxxis rekon+ front and rear in arizona. If you want more aggressive, do dhf+ in front and rekon+ rear.
landis has the ground controls in stock - that would suffice and I do love the phatness of them.

I have this in my Amazon cart:
Back Tire: Maxxis Minion DHR II | 3C MaxxTerra | Mountain Bike Tire | 3C MaxxTerra Tread, EXO/EXO+/DoubleDown/Downhill Casings, Tubeless Ready, Rear-Specific Traction
Ground Control - At Landis see above for address

MAXXIS REKON Plus MaxxTerra 27.5x2.80 amazon
For Maxis - different front and back:
Back Tire: Shit, only in 2.6 wide though
Maxxis Minion DHR II Dual EXO WT TR 27.5" - looks super beefy or at Maxis

Front Tire:
The DHS 2.5 is as wide as they have

Surly Knard is in 3 inch - but it looks just like ground controls
Surly Knard 27.5 x 3.0 Inch MTB Tire

Other tires:
- vittoria mazza 27.5
- 2.8 Butcher Grids (back tire can be sluggesh, but good on front)
- Michelin Wild Enduros in 2.6 or 2.8 at 27.5. Better than Maxxis DHF/DHR 2.8 combo I used previously
- Minion DHF/DHR all the way (2.5/2.4). I have ridden them and had them on three different bikes and they are fantastic
Shit, now I'm looking at a whole new wheelset: 29ers with 2.2 inch tires which should fit my bike: The correct wheelset dimensions for my specialized 2017 fs comp is 15x110mm front and 12x148mm rear.
Mixed standards: Many modern long-travel enduro and downhill mountain bikes pair a 110mm Boost front fork with a 157mm Super Boost rear frame, but my bike has a 147mm boost
