Let's See... Past couple of weeks Sedona - Flag - Payson...
Just looking at my onenote...
4/25 (last weekend) I did some Sedona camping with my new mountainbiking friends, Jeremy, Other Steve, James (Skatebaorder too), Other Jeremy, Tyler from Vegas, and a few others. We rode a bunch on Saturday (Arie and all around the traisl there), then Sunday too (Skywalker, Old Post, Ridge shuttle). It was close to our campsite, Nolan, so not a lot of traffic.
4/30 Camping along the drive up to Flag, and ultimately Painted desert tomorrow. Camped, worked at Sycamore, then worked at sbux Payson for a couple of hours Friday afternoon.
That store is dirty, trash was overflowing, one bathroom was open, trash/floors/sink was gross, while 10 people were standing around behind the counter doing nothing. I then drove up Lake Mary rode, which is a beautiful and scenic drive with a small amount of traffic, and the views were just wonderful. It was first Friday in Flag, and I got to drive through downtown, which as so busy and fun looking, but I had to get to the trailhead for my camping spot.
Anyways, I made a new friend, Brian and his wife Krystal (gotta make friends if you don't drink alone). They live in Flagstaff and had great stories and I enjoyed hanging with them for an hour or so. I met a family from Fort Huachuca. They're off not to watch their son race. Now it’s time for a nap! Tomorrow, gonna skate, then head up to camp at the painted desert for two nights.
