How to Make a Wobble Bass Using Images in Harmor
You can create a custom wobble bass in FL Studio by using Harmor's image synthesis feature. This process converts the brightness and pixels of a picture into active audio harmonics.
1. Load and Map Your Image
- Open a fresh instance of Harmor in your Channel Rack.
- Click the IMG button to switch over to the Image Panel.
- Drag and drop your picture, logo, or photo directly into the image display area.
- Play a key on your MIDI controller to hear the raw tonal representation of your image.
2. Shape the Timbre and Filters
- Turn up the Unison settings to 6–9 voices and tweak the pitch or phase to thicken the core sound.
- Engage a low-pass or crude band-pass filter inside Harmor.
- Turn up the filter Resonance to give the sound an aggressive, sharp peak.
3. Create the Wobble Modulation
- Go to the LFO or Envelope section inside Harmor, or load Fruity Love Philter or Fruity Fast LP onto your mixer track.
- Link an LFO or create an Automation Clip targeting the filter cutoff frequency or volume.
- Adjust the LFO speed and tension to match your project's tempo (like 1/4 or 1/8 beats) to create the rhythmic wobble motion.
