Dinner for The Big Graduation!
We took everyone to dinner at Coopershawk in celebration of Zane's graduation from the UEI School for HVAC and Air Conditioning Handling. We are so proud of him for getting through the program. It was Zane, his girlfriend, Lucas, Sadie, Buffy, Barb and me. We had great drinks and I did my best to keep Barb occupied so she would stop complaining about the service, which i thought was fine for such a large group. The restaurant was completely packed, and several tables turned around while we were there, but we had a great time, and multiple rounds of drinks. My Dana's Parmasian Crusted chicken and mashed potatoes were delicious and it was served on a sea of green beans. I ended up adding salt, but only after others did as well. The deserts were Creme Broulet and banana pie for Zane and Kendal, flourless chocolate cake for Buffy and a delicious keylime pie for Barb. I had a glass of Marlot, Zane had an orange margarita, and strongbow cider and a glass of, uh, Saraz. Zane, Barb and Sadie got the filet, but they didn't have the Mary's potatoes, so they just got mashed potatoes with rosemary added.
Anyways, hats off to Zane! I had a great time and am hopeful that LD will find his way soon, I'm sure he will.
